Microneedling has long been a favorite treatment for achieving multiple skin health benefits with little to no downtime. This treatment tightens the skin and promotes collagen production. We have several different microneedling options: Basic Microneedling (microneedle using Hyurlonic acid or Vit c serum), ZO Accelerated Firming Microneedling (this uses ZO's Accelerated Firming Serum for added tightening benefits), and then Microneedling + Natural Growth Factor Injections (also known as Vampire Facial, which we use Natural Growth Factor Injections to microneedle into the skin). All of the microneedling treatments are recommened to do in a series of 3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results.

At your microneedling with natural growth factors appointment, a vial of your blood will be taken to derive platelets to use for treatment. Then, your Skin & Tonic aesthetician will use the microneedling pen to create tiny microchannels in the treatment area. After the microchannels are made through microneedling, the platelets will be applied like a serum. The platelet-rich serum will further encourage cell regrowth and collagen production.
Microneedling with natural growth factors is an excellent option for most skin types. Your Skin & Tonic aesthetician will discuss your skin concerns during your initial visit and establish a course of treatment to reach your aesthetic goals.
Result time varies by treatment area, though most patients report visible improvements after two to four weeks. Results will continue to develop anywhere from six to nine months after treatment.
Many patients are happy after one treatment. However, several treatments might be required to accomplish the patient’s individual goals. Most patients require three microneedling sessions, separated by four weeks.
A standard microneeding with natural growth factors lasts 45 minutes to an hour. Treatment time varies depending on the number and size of the treatment areas.
